| 40px | This is a documentation subpage for Template:AMAfF. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
This code:
{{AMAfF|Pop/Rock Female Artist}}
produces:
[[American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist|Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist]]
rendered as:
Takes one parameter, the name of the American Music Award category, without the prefix "American Music Award for Favorite", and produces a pipelink with the "American Music Award for" prefix stripped. Useful for tables like List of awards and nominations received by Tina Turner#American Music Awards, avoiding the need for redirects or typing (or mis-typing) the names twice in a pipelink.
Alternate names
{{AMAFF}}{{AMAff}}{{AMAforF}}{{AMA for Favorite}}
