Template documentation

This template is a sidebar displaying an anatomical series. These templates are intended to present a list of basic anatomical structures to readers.

If adding to this series, please only add structures if they are of fundamental importance to lay readers

This template has a default image that can be overridden desired. It can also be transcluded without affecting the default image.

To include using the default image, copy and paste this into an article:

{{Anatomical lists}}

To override the default image, copy and paste this into the article (replacing the text File=imagename.jpg with the image of choice:

{{Anatomical lists|File=imagename.jpg}}
The text File=imagename.jpg can be any file or image of any currently accepted image type.

Collapsible lists

This template includes collapsible lists.

  • To set it to display all lists when it appears (i.e. all lists expanded), use:
  •  {{Anatomical lists |expanded=all}} or, if enabled, {{Anatomical lists |all}}  (i.e. omitting "expanded=").
  • To set it to display one particular list while keeping the remainder collapsed (i.e. hidden apart from their headings), use:
  •  {{Anatomical lists |expanded=listname}} or, if enabled, {{Anatomical lists |listname}}
  • …where listname is one of the following (do not include any quotemarks):
    • general
    • structures
    • muscles
    • seealso
