Map of Bahrain

Module:Location map/data/Bahrain is a location map definition used to overlay markers and labels on an equirectangular projection map of Bahrain. The markers are placed by latitude and longitude coordinates on the default map or a similar map image.

Usage

These definitions are used by the following templates when invoked with parameter "Bahrain":

Map definition

  • name = Bahrain
    Name used in the default map caption
  • bottom = 25.54
    Latitude at bottom edge of map, in decimal degrees
  • left = 50.2
    Longitude at left edge of map, in decimal degrees
  • right = 50.89
    Longitude at right edge of map, in decimal degrees

Precision

Longitude: from West to East this map definition covers 0.69 degrees.

  • At an image width of 200 pixels, that is 0.0034 degrees per pixel.
  • At an image width of 1000 pixels, that is 0.0007 degrees per pixel.

Latitude: from North to South this map definition covers 0.9 degrees.

  • At an image height of 200 pixels, that is 0.0045 degrees per pixel.
  • At an image height of 1000 pixels, that is 0.0009 degrees per pixel.

Examples using location map templates

Location map

{{Location map | Bahrain
| width   = 250
| lat_deg = 26.217
| lon_deg = 50.583
| label   = Manama
}}

Location map many

{{Location map many | Bahrain
| width    = 250
| caption = Two locations in Bahrain
| lat1_deg = 26.217
| lon1_deg = 50.583
| label1   = Manama
| lat2_deg = 25.655
| lon2_deg = 50.749
| label2   = Hawar
}}

Location map+

{{Location map+ | Bahrain
| width   = 250
| caption = Two locations in Bahrain
| places  =
  {{Location map~ | Bahrain
  | lat_deg = 26.217
  | lon_deg = 50.583
  | label   = Manama
  }}
  {{Location map~ | Bahrain
  | lat_deg = 25.655
  | lon_deg = 50.749
  | label   = Hawar
  }}
}}
