Propose merging a category. The template displays the proper links and the recommended {{Cfm2}} syntax for the next step.
Please follow overall instructions.
Usage
If a single category:
- ProposedName is the category name you desire to merge this into. It must already exist; if it does not, you should use {{cfr}} to rename.
If a group of similar categories or a category and its subcategories, use an umbrella nomination:
- ProposedName is the desired replacement name for the category.
- SectionName is the joint discussion section. It may be a category name, or any other unique name that reflects the nominations.
- Please include "Cfm" in the edit summary, and don't mark the edit as minor.
- To merge into 2 targets, please use
{{cfm-double|ProposedName1|ProposedName2}}or ({{cfm-double|ProposedName1|ProposedName2|SectionName}}as stated above). - Preview before saving. The display will give more precise instructions about the next step.
