Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

Creates a full citation for selected data products of the International Seismological Centre (ISC). Use {{short-isc}} to create in-line "short cites" that link to the full citations created by this template. Note: documents from the ISC should be cited like any other document, using {{cite journal}}, {{cite web}}, or {{citation}}.

Usage

  • {{ Cite isc | <product code*> | <event id> | mode=cs2 | title= <title> | url= <url> }}

A product code is required. Codes for selected ISC data products are:

OB - On-line Bulletin
EB - Event Bibliography
EHB - ISC-EHB Bulletin
GEM - ISC-GEM Global Instrumental Earthquake Catalogue
generic - For citing other ISC material not covered by the options above. Use |title= and |url= to override the defaults.

An event id is optional. This is intended where an event is cited only once. Otherwise use the {{short-isc}} template in-line to make multiple attributions of specific material to the proper ISC full citation.

Default style is cs1. For cs2 style add |mode=cs2.
