16px The word "plain" is ambiguous within the hook since it has many meanings. Perhaps alluvial plain, or something like region or district near Rome? Flibirigit (talk) 23:33, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

• That works too. I have a couple other questions. In the first paragraph of the section "St. Peter's tomb and the Constantinian basilica", what is the source for "When Constantine legitimized the Christian cult with his Edict of Milan and began his Christian public building program with the Lateran, he didn't do so in the public spaces of Rome, but on areas outside the walls and belonging to the imperial state property"? In "The bridges" section, what is meant by "during the lean of the Tiber"? This is not clear based on WP:ENGVAR. In "The burial areas" section, is it possible to cite "and were normally left in place until the need arose to demolish them to make room for new buildings, or to recover materials"? • 16px ALT1c and ALT0a are approved. The article appears to meet all other DYK criteria. The photo is properly licensed and used in the photo, but does not seem clear to me at a low resolution. Flibirigit (talk) 17:22, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
