:* These two articles qualify for DYK on the grounds of newness and length. They are neutral and I found no evidence of copyright problems. My only quibble is with the proposed hooks. Can an ant's nest be a "host" to a presumably parasitic nematode, or only the ants themselves act as hosts? And in the alternative hook I don't like the use of the word "carried" which sounds as if the ant has picked up the nematode with its legs, in the same way as do the winged females of certain ants carry pieces of fungus on their nuptial flights. ::*Yes the nest can be the host habitat for the non-dauer stage nematodes, so I dont really see a problem with the first hook. Regarding hook 2, carried is a very common term for a parasite being present in a hosts body, so the wording seems fine to me.--Kevmin § 12:10, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

• Symbol question.svg These two articles qualify for DYK on the grounds of newness and length. • Yes the nest can be the host habitat for the non-dauer stage nematodes, so I dont really see a problem with the first hook. Regarding hook 2, carried is a very common term for a parasite being present in a hosts body, so the wording seems fine to me.--Kevmin § 12:10, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
• Symbol confirmed.svg As Kevmin assures me the terminology used in the hooks is correct, this is ready to go, with either hook being used. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:17, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
