::*Ok, I reviewed the article and decided to pass it with a [[File:Symbol confirmed.svg|16px]]. Created and nominated within just a few minutes, it certainly qualifies as "New". The prose meets the 1,500 character minimum, and while I usually prefer to avoid words like "conquest" by using "softer" euphemisms, there is nothing particularly wrong with it either. The hook's assertion is used in the prose and the reference was verified as accurate in an [http://nsarchive.gwu.edu/NSAEBB/NSAEBB248/war_in_northern_laos.pdf online copy] found at the NSA Archive. I checked the other paragraphs as well, and the content is accurate, but in-line references should be scattered throughout the paragraphs instead of being only used at the final sentence, even when they share the same source. The hook in question seems to meet the criteria, although an ALT can abbreviate it by removing the "15 minutes" part and simply noting that the attack took place after ceasefire. - [[User:Caribbean H.Q.|Caribbean~H.Q.]] 06:04, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

 • Ok, I reviewed the article and decided to pass it with a Symbol confirmed.svg. Created and nominated within just a few minutes, it certainly qualifies as "New". The prose meets the 1,500 character minimum, and while I usually prefer to avoid words like "conquest" by using "softer" euphemisms, there is nothing particularly wrong with it either. The hook's assertion is used in the prose and the reference was verified as accurate in an online copy found at the NSA Archive. - Caribbean~H.Q. 06:04, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
