• 16px As of today the article stands at 1308 characters, short of the 1500-character count required by DYK. The article is also tagged as a stub, which is not acceptable for DYK. I also question the notability of this subject. Many girls are aspiring singers; does she have any significant awards or made any significant contribution to music in Russia? • Sorry, I probably counted wrong. I will expand it shortly. It will be very easy. Her notability is okay cause there are numerous articles anout her in the Russian media. I think the notablity is shown in the Wikipedia article already. --Moscow Connection (talk) 16:05, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
• Yes, she has a significant award, she took third place at Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk. But even if she didn't, she would still be notable cause there are already several sources discussing her in detail. --Moscow Connection (talk) 16:14, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
• I've just noticed you copyedited the article, thank you very much! I've just expanded it a little bit, now DYK Check says "1726 characters". • 16px Thank you for the expansion. Article is new enough, long enough, adequately referenced. Most sources are in Russian, so I am unable to check those, but the basic details are confirmed by the one English-language source. QPQ done. In terms of notability, I am not going to press the point; it is just my understanding that coverage should be much wider than just local papers. Let's hope she wins the Junior Eurovision Contest! • Kazan-inform and Tatar-inform are local news agencies, so I didn't mention them in my previous post. The three sources I listed aren't local. By the way, the Russian-language page survived a deletion request back in June, right after it was created. Here. As you can see, the closing admin listed several more articles he thought were reliable sources.
