- It is supported by inline references from appropriate sources.
- No copyvio on Earwig.
- Hooks are properly formatted and short enough. I think the original is OK for a general audience and the enigma in the question makes it eye-catching. It is surprising that the tactic was a legitimate ruse de guerre. ALT 1 is the better of the other 2.
- Looks good to go.
