Maenan Abbey

  • ... that in 2011, three medieval walls dated to 1282 were found in the grounds at Maenan Abbey whilst workmen were working on the drainage?

Created/expanded by Rosiestep (talk), Dr. Blofeld (talk). Nominated by Dr. Blofeld (talk) at 10:26, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Reviewed Luba Crater Scientific Reserve.♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:35, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

  • Good length. Well sourced. Hook verified, appropriate. One minor concern - the History section seems to consist mainly of quotes (from PD sources) but these are not indicated as quotes in any way - suggest "" as the simplest. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:41, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
    • The references section acknowledges that the article incorporates text from Samuel Lewis. Moswento (talk | contribs) 11:06, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
  • But doesn't copying old text negate the DYK rule that prose has to be new?--Esemono (talk) 03:48, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
  • Only if there is not 1500 characters of new content (for a new article) or 5x of new material (for expansions) Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:25, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
  • So where does that leave this article? --Esemono (talk) 03:42, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
  • As this is a new article, are there at least 1500 characters of new (unique to Wikipedia) text? Crisco 1492 (talk) 05:08, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
