Osage Battalion

Black Dog II
Black Dog II
  • ... that the Native American Osage Battalion (Captain Black Dog II pictured) was one of the last Confederate units to surrender during the American Civil War? "this was the last formal surrender of any significant body of Confederate troops" from: Gordon, Alice; Dunn, Jerry Camarillo; White, Mel (1990). Texas and the Arkansas River valley. Stewart, Tabori & Chang. p. 375. ISBN 978-1-55670-124-5.

  • Symbol question.svg New enough, long enough, well written and referenced article (AGF on offline sources) on an interesting topic. Hooks are interesting, cited, and the image is suitable, in the article, and appropriately licensed. Personally I have a clear preference for ALT0. QPQ done. Only one nitpick: could you please link "Confederate" and "American Civil War" in the hooks? The average Wikipedia visitor may not necessarily know of them. Constantine 19:09, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
Hi Constantine, thanks for your review. I've linked the terms you suggest - Dumelow (talk) 05:22, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
