:::{{ping|Dumelow}} Thanks for the review; it's almost like I threw this article together in too much of a rush. I am hoping to find some more sources to flesh it out, at which stage the similarities with the ODNB should hopefully fade. You were correct about Clarendon; I get so used to seeing him listed as a source that I must admit that I sort of forget that I need to explain who he is! The dangers of "expertise"! I removed "best known" from the lead for the time being, and rephrased the result of Hopton Heath; on further reading of that battle both sides claimed victory, so until I know more about it I will shy away from awarding a victory! Oh, and QPQ completed. - 16px Hi Harrias, review follows: article created 6 February; article exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources; there's some similarity with the ODNB, largely in structure but this is probably unavoidable as it is the main source; hook is interesting, mentioned in the article and backed up by the source. I have a couple of comments about the text:
- Is "Clarendon" Edward Hyde, 1st Earl of Clarendon? If so this could use a link. The lead says Byron was "best known" for his charge at Hopton Heath but the "best known" part isn't mentioned in the main text? Likewise the fact that the charge "helped the Royalists to victory"?
- Otherwise this one looks good to go once you get a QPQ - Dumelow (talk) 19:26, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
- Template:Ping Thanks for the review; it's almost like I threw this article together in too much of a rush. Harrias talk 19:56, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
