This orphaned talk page, subpage, or image page should not be deleted under CSD G8 as it is useful to Wikipedia.

This template places pages into Category:Wikipedia orphaned talk pages that should not be speedily deleted. See WP:CSD#G8.
There is one unnamed parameter that makes the appearance of the box optional as follows:
