{{{title}}} on the App Store
Template:Uses Wikidata Template:Tracks Wikidata Lua error in Module:Lua_banner at line 113: attempt to index field 'edit' (a nil value).
This template displays a link to the iTunes Preview website. This template should be used exclusively for Apps on the Apple App Store.
Usage
{{iTunes Preview App | ID }}{{iTunes Preview App | ID | TITLE }}
Parameters
The template accepts two parameters, but only the first is required.
- ID should be all of the content after the "itunes.apple.com/" in a URL to an iTunes page.
- TITLE is optional and is the title of the work. If not provided, it defaults to {{PAGENAMEBASE}}.
Instructions
- 1. Go to the app's iTunes Preview Page.
- 2. Copy only the numbers at the end of the url. Ignore the letters "id" in front of the numbers.
- 3. The page URL should look like https://itunes.apple.com/app/id#########, where "#########" indicates a number.
- 4. Add to the external links section the text:
{{ITunes Preview App|#######|Name}}
where "#########" is the number you've copied, and "Name" is the name of the iOS application.
Examples
- Go to App Store Downloads on iTunes and find the page for the app. For example, on the Games page, clicking on Fortnite goes to this URL:
- Copy "1261357853" and then add this number as parameter:
- {{iTunes Preview App|1261357853}}
- The result on the page Fortnite is:
- Fortnite on the App StoreScript error: No such module "EditAtWikidata".Template:WikidataCheck.
Typically this is a list item in the external links section (even if there is only one link), so you should add "*" in front.
- One parameter
* {{iTunes Preview App | 398366739 }}- Template:PAGENAMEBASE on the App StoreScript error: No such module "EditAtWikidata".Template:WikidataCheck
- Two parameters
* {{iTunes Preview App | 398366739 | Boston Herald }}- Boston Herald on the App StoreScript error: No such module "EditAtWikidata".Template:WikidataCheck
- No parameters
* {{iTunes Preview App}}- Template:PAGENAMEBASE on the App StoreScript error: No such module "EditAtWikidata".Template:WikidataCheck
Tracking categories

- Category:iTunes app ID same as Wikidata (0)
- Category:iTunes app ID different from Wikidata (0)
- Category:iTunes app ID not in Wikidata (0)
