In 1986-1991 he was teacher at the KNUCA. In this period he was lecturing students on Information Technology. His scientific work was on management, modeling and object-oriented methods of the algorithm of complex projects and processes.
 
In 1989 he was granted title of the “The Rationalizer of the Year” and “The Best Teacher”. He estableshed Reserch Center for young Scientifig in Kiev and was head of this center during 1988-1991.
 
In 1991 he was teacher at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction in “Automation business processes and computer engineering” department as Docent in 1999.
 
In 1992-2000, he was working as a Head of Computer Operations department in the State Student Admission Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
 
In 2000-2008 he worked Director of Information Center "Election" under Central Election Comission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (The book: "Heydar Aliyev - Our independence is eternal" - 30 vol. P. 353-363). At the same time, He was project manager of "State Automation Information System" . He is responsible for an invention in the field of Election technologies and a member of  experts group of UN on “Legal and Technical standards of e-election and e-voting technologies” in Strasbourg in 2002.  He is the author of book “Elections" on the mirror of Information Technology” in 2001.
 
In 2001-2008 he was teacher at the Public Administration Academy under the President of Azerbaijan in “Project and Program Management” department.
 
Currently, working Professor and Head of the “Project Management and Innovation Center” of Azerbaijan Technical University.
 
Since 2008 He is Director of Program and Projects of Modernization of customs service and procedure of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
 
He is the member of the UN Asian and Pacific countries Advisory Committee in the field of ‘Paperless Technology in Trade” as of 2010. He also worked a project expert in modernization and development of innovative projects in Customs service in Asia and Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan Republics).
