Purpose

This template is used to generate links to ease in the creation of redirects. Due to the variety of practices in romanizing and adapting Korean names, it is imperative that these redirects be in place so that editors do not duplicate one another's work. It is recommended that this template be piped through Template:Alsoknown.

Usage

To use, paste the following near the top of the article's talk page, and fill in the revised romanization (rr=) and McCune–Reischauer romanization (mr=) if known, minus the "san" ending.

{{Korean mountain names|rr=|mr=}}

Example for Yeonhwasan:

{{Korean mountain names|rr=Yeonhwa|mr=Yŏnhwa}}

Note: If the spelling of the 2 romanization systems are identical, include one or the other but not both. Generally rr= should be used in articles about South Korea and mr= in articles about North Korea.
