  1. 1.0 1.1 Since both 2015–16 Taça de Portugal finalists Porto and Braga qualified for European competition based on their league position, if Porto win the cup, the spot awarded to the Taça de Portugal winner (Europa League group stage) would be passed to the fourth-placed team and the spot for the fifth-placed team (Europa League third qualifying round) would be passed to the sixth-placed team.
