Template:Cite American Factfinder2 generates a reference (using Template:Cite web) to Geographic Comparison Tables from the 2000 United States Census via the United States Census Bureau's American FactFinder website (http://factfinder2.census.gov). Includes land area, water area, and population density for counties, county subdivisions and cities. Template:American Factfinder2 generates URLs for this template and should not be used separately.

Note: Template is only for the 50 U.S. States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. It will not generate information for the other U.S. territories.

Usage

Use: {{American Factfinder2|type|id|type2}}

  • type: Use 1 to generate state-level tables or 2 to generate county-level tables.
  • type2: The specific type of data you want displayed. Choices are state, county, place, tribe, or urban (for urban/rural comparisons). ANCR or native_HI can also be used for Alaska Native lands and Native Hawaiian lands respectively.
  • name: Not used as of October 2015
  • accessdate: date of web page visit
