Usage

If license is confirmed by notice on the website, please consider also using Template:Text release on the article's talk page.

Parameters

  • sourcepath: The URL of the source page.
  • sourcearticle: The name of the page or section of the page being incorporated.
  • revision: The permanent identification of the Wikipedia revision that incorporated the text. To get this, take the digits at the end of a permanent link, after "oldid=".
  • author(s): the author or authors of the source. This may be needed to meet the "appropriate credit" provision of Creative Commons licenses, which provide (for examples in all of CC-By 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0) that: "If supplied, you must provide the name of the creator and attribution parties".
