This template creates the heading for a CanElec1 byelection table.

Usage:

{{CanElec1|[[1 July]] [[1867]]}}

Where the parameter is the date of the by-election (1 July 1867 in this example).

For general elections, use the {{CanElec1}} template for header.

For each row (candidate/party/votes), use the {{CanElec1Row}} template.
