Module:Location map/data/United Kingdom Anguilla is a location map definition used to overlay markers and labels on an equirectangular projection map of Anguilla. The markers are placed by latitude and longitude coordinates on the default map or a similar map image.

Usage

These definitions are used by the following templates when invoked with parameter "United Kingdom Anguilla":

Map definition

  • name = Anguilla
Name used in the default map caption
  • bottom = 18.14
Latitude at bottom edge of map, in decimal degrees
  • left = -63.46
Longitude at left edge of map, in decimal degrees
  • right = -62.9
Longitude at right edge of map, in decimal degrees

Precision

Longitude: from West to East this map definition covers 0.56 degrees.

  • At an image width of 200 pixels, that is 0.0028 degrees per pixel.
  • At an image width of 1000 pixels, that is 0.0006 degrees per pixel.

Latitude: from North to South this map definition covers 0.48 degrees.

  • At an image height of 200 pixels, that is 0.0024 degrees per pixel.
  • At an image height of 1000 pixels, that is 0.0005 degrees per pixel.

Examples using location map templates

Location map

The Valley (Anguilla)
{{Location map | United Kingdom Anguilla
| width = 250
| lat_deg = 18.221
| lon_deg = -63.052
| label = The Valley
}}

Location map many

{{Location map many | United Kingdom Anguilla
| width = 250
| caption = Two locations in Anguilla
| lat1_deg = 18.221
| lon1_deg = -63.052
| label1 = The Valley
| pos1 = top
| lat2_deg = 18.278
| lon2_deg = -63.253
| label2 = Dog Island
| pos2 = bottom
| mark2 = Red circle 50%.svg
| mark2size = 20
}}

Location map+

{{Location map+ | United Kingdom Anguilla
| width = 250
| caption = Two locations in Anguilla
| places =
  {{Location map~ | United Kingdom Anguilla
  | lat_deg = 18.221
  | lon_deg = -63.052
  | label = The Valley
  | position = top
  }}
  {{Location map~ | United Kingdom Anguilla
  | lat_deg = 18.278
  | lon_deg = -63.253
  | label = Dog Island
  | position = bottom
  | mark = Red circle 50%.svg
  | marksize = 20
