Robert Holloway is a radiochemist. He received his Ph.D. in 1977 from the University of Arkansas. He is the author of a number of publications on radioactive materials in the environment.  From 1981 to 1994, he worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Las Vegas, Nevada as a laboratory supervisor. In 1994, he founded Nevada Technical Associates, Inc., a company that provides training in the area of radiation safety and health physics. These short courses are given in several locations in the United States.  Recently, the company has branched out into the production of videos on radiation safety and other topics.
