This template assists citing the 4th edition of An Etymological Dictionary of the English Language by Walter William Skeat.

Usage

The first parameter is the word entry. Other options are:

  • |page= or |pages=
  • |source= – if set to google, the citation will link to Google Books instead of Archive.org; if set to none etc., the link will not appear
  • |mode=cs2 – makes it compatible with {{Citation}}

If both the first parameter and the page(s) are specified, the entry will be linked instead of the book title.
