Usage

For use on pages with results of curling games. This template is used exclusively for those curling games that are scheduled to be played for 12 ends. Usually games with 12 ends are from championships taking place before the 1980s.

A blank template, for easy copy-and-paste:

{{ Curlingbox12
| sheet =
| team1 =
||||||||||||| |
| team2 =
||||||||||||| |
}}

The parameters include:

  • sheet: the name of the sheet
  • teamX: the name of the skip; alternatively, the name of the team with the skip in parentheses. Note that the team with the hammer in the first end should be denoted with the template {{X}}.
  • The end-by-end scores for each team should go on the lines below the team; the final score goes at the end of the line below the team.
    • Leave the 13th end blank unless it is actually played; note that the final input is for the final score.
    • If a match is played fewer than 12 ends, mark any conceded ends with an X or x.

Examples

From the 1968 Air Canada Silver Broom.

{{ Curlingbox12
| sheet =
| team1 = {{SCO}} (Hay)
|1|1|0|3|1|1|0|4|0|4|1|0| |16
| team2 = {{GER}} (Fischer-Weppler)
|0|0|3|0|0|0|3|0|1|0|0|1| |8
}}
