Notes on use

The DailyMed templates helps markup links to http://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov, the United States National Library of Medicine (part of National Institutes of Health site that provides information on some US available medicines (much of information from FDA).

2 parameters are required:

  1. REQUIRED - the preparation article number
  2. REQUIRED - preparation name to be shown.

Example for the tylenol with codeine (acetaminophen and codeine phosphate) tablet which is listed only as the product from ORTHO-McNEIL PHARMACEUTICAL, INC.:

Markup  {{DailyMed|1687|Tylenol with codeine}}
Giving Tylenol with codeine drug label/data at Daily Med from U.S. National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health.

DailyMed URLs

This template configures the url for: http://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?id=<<<article number>>>
