Abutiu
Created/expanded by GreatOrangePumpkin (talk), GDK (talk). Nominated by GreatOrangePumpkin (talk) at 15:07, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
This appears to be a translation of German(?) text that was added in June 2010. Little if any expansion was done. Clarityfiend (talk) 00:17, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
Someone with knowledge in the DYK process should re-review. It clearly meets the criteria. Regards.--Kürbis (✔) 08:02, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
- There is nothing that I can find in the rules that specifically addresses translations from other Wikipedias. The closest match appears to be "a 'new' article ... may not consist of text spun off from a pre-existing article". If there is an understanding otherwise, it should be added to the guidelines.
