+ | ::Ah, I understand the Umepedia thing now. That's a lot of fun! Do you know if there is a way to put the cached version into the Baggböleri reference? I'm not sure if that's acceptable or not. I tried to search for the other link, too, but I couldn't find it. You might be able to find the information in some other reference, though. It's a great article and that hook will really bring people to the page, I think. It's got linguistic, environmental, and historic interest, so let's figure it out!! --[[User:Mvblair|Mvblair]] ([[User talk:Mvblair|talk]]) 22:42, 2 June 2014 (UTC) | ||

Baggböle
- ... that "Baggböleri", the Swedish derogatory term for deforestation, (cartoon pictured) is named after Baggböle on the Ume River?

- a Umepedia fringe nomination Victuallers (talk) 12:51, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
Article was created on May 17 with 923 words. The hook checks out and is accepted in good faith after doing two online translations. The picture appears fine, but I had to tweak the template to PD-1923. Two of the sources have problems: <ref name=vaster>[http://www.vbm.se/sv/kunskapsbanken/byggnadsvard1/byggnadsminnen/umea-kommun1/baggbele-herrgard.html Baggbole Mansion], Vasterbottens Museum, retrieved 19 May 2014</ref> (404 error) and <ref name=skogs>[http://www.skogsmuseet.com/eng/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=34&Itemid=82 The Term "Baggböleri"], SkogsMuseet, retrieved 19 May 2014</ref> (can't be found). This is a wonderful article and "Baggböle" is a wonderful word, so it would be wondedrful if those references could get fixed. Also, I'm not quite sure what a "Umepedia fringe nomination" is.
