Carpathian newt
... that the Carpathian newt sometimes hybridises with the smooth newt, though they usually occur in different habitats?

5x expansion and length OK. Not sure about the hook though. The source says "Some sites may support both species, and there may be a high rate of hybridization (about 60%) at these sites", the "may" doesn't strike me as supporting the assertion that it "sometimes hybridises". Also is [caudata.org] reliable? Thanks - Dumelow (talk) 22:12, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
