:* ''Comment'': Opera singer sings opera roles, yes, but the Bayreuth-Wagner + Salzburg-Mozart connection is rather unusual, and first to sing Wagner then Mozart, as she did. We could also tell the sad story of her having to leave Germany and Austria in the 1930s, but I'd prefer to focus on what she was able to do. There's an image of a Bayreuth plaque, but I guess it's not god in small size. Best on '''17 February''', her birthday.

*[[File:Symbol confirmed.svg|16px]]The article was nominated within 7 days of being created. It is long enough, neutral and cites sources perfectly. The article relies mostly on one source; my German is not perfect, but as far as I can tell, there is no close paraphrasing. Photographs of Born can be found online. I suspect [https://i.pinimg.com/originals/73/f1/30/73f1303a7bfa6c3a5a2d43ab28e0aa2e.jpg this one] might be in public domain already. It would be much better than the photograph of the plaque, which is only useful due to the tiny portrait in the corner - the copyright of which we do not know. The hook is of appropriate length and sourced. I think her sad story would be more interesting to a "broad audience", but I understand the nominator's wish to focus on something else. There are is too much WW2 content on the Main Page anyway. I regret that this article was not reviewed in time to appear on the Main Page on the subject's birthday.
