KARW (Texas)
- ... that in 1966, KLUE radio in Longview, Texas, held a bonfire to burn The Beatles albums—and then was struck by lightning the next day? Bonfire + lightning strike
- ALT1:... that three unauthorized transfers of control in two years led the Federal Communications Commission to deny the license renewal of radio station KARW in Longview, Texas? Source

Long enough, in time, sourced, inline hook citations check out, no apparent copyvios, QPQ done. ALT1 is, I think, much more interesting. Template:U, perhaps there's a way to work in the reason for the anti-Beatles sentiment (Lennon's comment about the group's Christ-like popularity) into a hook? --Usernameunique (talk) 04:10, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

- ALT2: ... that when John Lennon called The Beatles more popular than Jesus Christ, KLUE radio in Longview, Texas, responded by staging a bonfire of Beatles memorabilia?
- Looks pretty good, Template:U. What about combining that with ALT0, to get the benefit of both the Jesus comment and the lightning strike? --Usernameunique (talk) 04:31, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
- ALT2A: ... that when John Lennon called The Beatles more popular than Jesus Christ, KLUE radio in Longview, Texas, responded by staging a bonfire of Beatles memorabilia—and was struck by lightning the next day?
Looks good—and just under the 200-character mark. --Usernameunique (talk) 20:37, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
