Get the fully qualified base page name of the current or the given page. It is similar to the magic word {{BASEPAGENAME}}, but prepends the namespace of the page.

If this template is used in namespaces with subpages disabled it will nonetheless attempt to remove anything after the last slash "/" in the title.

Usage

  • {{FULLBASEPAGENAME}} → Template:FULLBASEPAGENAME
  • {{FULLBASEPAGENAME|}} → Template:FULLBASEPAGENAME
  • {{FULLBASEPAGENAME|Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Arbitration enforcement/Archive1}} → wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Arbitration enforcement
  • {{FULLBASEPAGENAME|List of 28 Days/Weeks Later characters}} → List of 28 Days
