This template creates standardized references to various maps published by the Indiana State Highway Commission or the Indiana Department of Transportation

Usage

To complete the template, fill in the following parameters:

  • year: currently one of 1917, 1923, 1924, 1926n (northern), 1926s (southern), 1927, 1928, 1928a (alt), 1929, 1930, 1931, 1931fa (Federal Aid), 1932, 1938n (northern), 1938s (southern), 1989, 2010, 2012, 2014.
  • section or sections: the grid reference for the section(s) of the map. Only applicable on maps after 1927.
  • access-date: the date the map was accessed online.
  • link: set to yes to unlink the publisher; do so only the first time a map by that publisher is being cited to avoid overlinking.
  • v-link: to wikilink the host of a map for those items hosted by various library websites.
  • inset: to indicate the map inset, as appropriate
  • at: a free-form location.
  • mode: set to "cs2" to use Citation Style 2 output
  • ref: for Harvard-style referencing, if necessary
  • letter: a letter to append to a date or year for Harvard-style referencing, if necessary
