Usage

This subtemplate produces references for speaker data on language articles. If the number of speakers is taken from Ethnologue 17, enter ⟨e17⟩ in the 'ref' field, and a footnote will be generated that links to the page on Ethnologue article, based on the language's ISO639-3 code. This footnote can be linked to elsewhere on the page with <ref name=e17/>. (⟨e16⟩ and ⟨e15⟩ can be used for the 16th and 15th editions.)
