Usage

This template adds some color coding to requests on WP:ANRFC that allows a closer to quickly see which ones have been waiting the longest for a close.

Set the type by filling in the |type= parameter, defaults to rfc.

It color codes into three categories:

  • If the request was initiated less than 30 (7 for XfD) days ago, the template text will display in blue.
  • If the request was initiated 31 to 60 (8 to 21 for XfD) days ago, the template text will display in green.
  • If the request was initiated more than 60 (21 for XfD) days ago, the template text will display in red.

In addition to the visual colorings, requests more than 60 (21 for XfD/xRv) days old will also add non-"archive" pages the template is used on to Category:Administrative backlog.

You can also use this to mention previous discussions by using the |from= parameter which will prevent coloring and categorization but will use the same styling.

When requests are completed, please mark them with |done=yes to remove the formatting and disable the categorization.
