- ↑ 1.0 1.1 Since both 2015–16 Taça de Portugal finalists Porto and Braga qualified for European competition based on their league position, the spot awarded to the Taça de Portugal winner (Europa League group stage) will be given to the fourth-placed team and the fifth-placed and sixth-placed teams will qualify for Europa League third qualifying round.
