Usage

This template is designed to assist blocked users in copying over a page for use in a second chance. The article provided must exist in mainspace and not be a redirect. This template removes infoboxes, stub templates, categories and sections such as references, external links and see also. If the source page has wikitext syntax errors, this may not work.

A clickable button that goes to an edit window with an edit notice that prompts the user to use this template can be generated by the following code:

<span class="plainlinks">[{{fullurl:{{FULLPAGENAME}} |action=edit&editintro=Template:2nd_chance_autoload/editintro&summary=Copied%20content%20from%20%5B%5Bexact%20Name%20of%20Article%5D%5D%3B%20see%20that%20article%27s%20history%20for%20attribution}} {{Clickable button|Copy article|color=blue}}]</span>
