Four types of arthropods and their 10 body segments. All four start with acrons that have compound eyes. Trilobites and chelicerates have 7, and crustaceans and tracheates 5 head segments, as follows: antenna segments, 1 in Tri and tracheates and 2 in crustaceans; then segments lost during development, 1 in chelicerates and 1 in tracheates; then a chelicera and a pedipalp segment in chelicerates; then 1 mandible and 2 maxilla segments in crustaceans and tracheates; then leg segments, 5 in trilobites and 4 in chelicerates.
