Template:Template testcases notice

Currently Template:Tlsc substitutes a single message tailored for persons "involved" in the case being requested. The sandbox modification allows use of additional parameters so that the notification can address persons who are not "involved", but have been tangentially mentioned instead. The notification extends beyond the request phase; being usable for open cases, requests for clarification, and requests for amendments as well. The code is usable, and can be incorporated into the main template as soon as a consensus indicates a desire to use the additional functionality. I'll demonstrate:

Main template

The template currently uses a single configuration. Its code is shown wherever the instruction is shown saying notification is required. It is intended that most users will copy-paste that code when and where needed. The single configuration is:

{{subst:arbcom notice|section name}} ~~~~

It produces this substituted message: You are involved in a recently filed request for arbitration. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case#section name and, if you wish to do so, enter your statement and any other material you wish to submit to the Arbitration Committee. Additionally, the following resources may be of use—

Thanks, (the 4-tilde signature will substitute here)

Currently needed copyedit

If no additional functionality was needed of this template, it would require the following copyedit in my opinion:

  1. The message begins as: "You are involved in a recently filed request for arbitration", which appears more like an accusation, than a notification. This will become, 'Hello (user name), you have been listed as an "involved party" in a recently filed request for arbitration'.
  2. The emdash after "may be of use—" is misplaced. This will become the more correct colon instead.
  3. Terminal punctuation is not used with bullet items, they are removed.
  4. "Thanks," is an ill-advised salutation; it will become "Thank you for giving attention to this matter."
  5. After clean-up for readability and cohesion, the notification becomes:

New default message

Hello (user name), you have been listed as an "involved party" in a recently filed request for arbitration. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case#section name. If you wish doing; enter your statement and any other material you choose to submit to the Arbitration Committee.

Beyond the template's main copyedit, its functionality is increased to accomplish these additional notifications:
