This template will create a taxon based on the data at Template:Taxonomy/|same_as=, but will over-ride any values that you tell it to.

Please enter:

  • |same_as= The taxon that should be referred to for any parameters left blank.

Optionally, enter any of the following, if you wish this taxon to differ from |same_as=:

  • |rank= The rank of this taxon (latinized, e.g. subfamilia, clade) (More)
  • |link= The taxon name as it should be displayed within a link.
