For links to content-rich pages about composers, in the BBC Radio 3 archives.

Usage

This template has two parameters, the first mandatory; the second optional:

  1. |id= - BBC composer page URL slug; for example, for http://bbc.co.uk/tchaikovsky, enter tchaikovsky
  2. |title= - composer name, in a form suitable as link text (defaults to page name)
  3. |accessdate= - for use in citations

Example

The markup:

  • {{BBC composer page|tchaikovsky|Tchaikovsky}}

renders as:

  • "Discovering Tchaikovsky". BBC Radio 3.

Redirects

Note that the canonical BBC composer URLs such as http://bbc.co.uk/tchaikovsky redirect to pages whose URLs use a BBC Programme Identifier (PID), such as http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01nbg53

Linking to the former type is preferable; see talk page for a list of URLs supplied by the BBC.
