50px Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

Template:Bfidb individual displays an external link to a web page for an individual in the "Films, TV and people" section of the British Film Institute (BFI) database. It is intended for use in the external links section of an article.

Usage

If the subject of the Wikipedia article is the same as the BFI page, only the ID number is required. The template then uses the Wikipedia article name as the anchor text.

To have the link text be other than the article name, use the second parameter.

Examples

Usage:

* {{Bfidb individual | 592017 | Terry Pratchett }}
* {{Bfidb individual |id= 592017 |individual= Terry Pratchett }}

Output:

Current URL:

Former URL:

  • http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/individual/592017
