Template:Bfidb series displays an external link to a web page for a television series in the "Films, TV and people" section of the British Film Institute (BFI) database. It is intended for use in the external links section of an article.

Usage

If the subject of the Wikipedia article is the same as the BFI page, only the ID number is required. The template then uses the Wikipedia article name as the anchor text.

To have the link text be other than the article name, use the second parameter.

Parameters

Parameter Notes
id Series id given after http://www.bfi.org.uk/films-tv-people/sift/series/. For example, the EastEnders entry is at http://www.bfi.org.uk/films-tv-people/sift/series/7133 and the ID is 7133.
title Series title, for the above example this would be EastEnders. This parameter is optional; it defaults to the Wikipedia article name, without any disambiguation such as "(series)".

Example

Usage:

* {{Bfidb series | 7133 | EastEnders }}
* {{Bfidb series |id= 7133 |title= EastEnders }}

Output:

Current URL:

Former URL:

  • http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/series/7133 (archive)
