| This is a documentation subpage for Template:Blocked sockpuppet. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
| Please do not substitute this template. |
In general, this template should only be used by Administrators or Clerks as part of the Sockpuppet investigations process.
This template is used for confirmed sock puppets who have been blocked (usually without the requirement of a CheckUser; see {{checkedsockpuppet}}). Admins who block users as clear sockpuppets of another user can use this template, with the form:
- Under |evidence=, please provide a link to the relevant evidence. This can be a diff, or a wikilink, to an SPI case, contributions (for DUCKy cases), etc.
- Please don't use this template for the sockmaster (the original, or first, account). For that, please use {{sockpuppeteer}}.
- The template automatically adds Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of SOCKMASTER (SOCKMASTER being the name added to the template). If this link is red, please create the category with {{sockpuppet category|SOCKMASTER}}.
This template is a wrapper for {{sockpuppet}}.
