Usage
This template should not be used directly; {{subst:book-prod|reason}} should be used instead. The subst: part is important for technical reasons explained in the talk page. This template should not be subst: itself (that is, do not use {{subst:dated book prod|...}}). Please remember to use an edit summary when proposing a page for deletion or removing the prod tag.
This template will categorize pages into Category:All books proposed for deletion and, if used correctly the appropriate dated sub-category (if used incorrectly it puts the article in Category:Proposed deletions needing attention instead). See WP:BPROD for how Proposed Deletion works for books.
