| This is a documentation subpage for Template:British-Museum-100. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
This template uses the standard succession boxes to create links to the previous or next artefact in the series A History of the World in 100 Objects.
Usage
{{British-Museum-100|<number>|before = <previous in sequence>|after = <next in sequence>}}
The parameters before and after are optional, but this template is pointless if neither is included. These parameters are the names of articles, square brackets around the article names are not needed. The values before and after may be set without using parameter names but this may be confusing for later editors.
If the link in before or after needs a different name to the article title, then a pipe character can be embedded with the wiki-code {{!}}.
If <number> is not a number, then no result is shown.
Example
- Code
{{British-Museum-100|19|before = Minoan Bull-leaper|after = Younger Memnon{{!}}Statue of Ramesses II}}
- Result
