Usage

This template expands a name to link to the appropriate Buenos Aires Metro station article, without displaying " (Buenos Aires Metro)".

The template can be abbreviated as Template:T (for Buenos Aires Subte).

For example:

{{bas|Plaza de Mayo}} expands to [[Plaza de Mayo (Buenos Aires Metro)|Plaza de Mayo]].

Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place, for example that Plaza de Mayo (station) is located at the Plaza de Mayo.

Almost all Buenos Aires Metro stations follow the link form of terminating with " (Buenos Aires Metro)".

Duplicate names

Six stations are further named by which line they are on. These stations require the line's letter as a second argument.

For example:

{{bas|Callao|B}} expands to [[Callao (Line B Buenos Aires Metro)|Callao]].
