(no evidence this is inconsistent; if any browser doesn't do it this way, that's an outright bug in the browser, since it is being fed specific data at the user-agent level after our templates process it. The only way it could not emit the output shown is if it's munging the data at the user side in a way that violates content integrity, not permissible in the specs.)
