Usage

This template should be used only on articles that have sources. It may be used with {{Refimprove}} or other check references templates. This template should not be used with stubs.

To use this template, place {{citation style}} on the article page. There is currently no consensus about where to place this template; most suggest either the bottom of the article page (in the 'References' section), or on the article's talk page.

  • A first unnamed parameter may be used to specify whether the template applies to the entire article or a section of the article (e.g., {{Citation style|section}}
  • A second unnamed parameter may be used to provide more details on some of the aspects that should be addressed for the given article. When using this second unnamed parameter, the first unnamed parameter needs to be specified (e.g., {{citation style|article|For example, citations normally are placed immediately after a punctuation mark, such as after a comma, colon, or the period at the end of a sentence.}})

Operation

This template will categorise tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia references cleanup. This template is a self-reference. This template is not useful for blackwiki:Subst.
