|title=
(help)
![]() | This template uses Lua: |
This template cites The Indian Biographical Dictionary.
Usage
Non-standard parameters:
noicon=x — do not display an icon short=x — prevents the text of some parameters being displayed (see below) wstitle=article name — will automatically create a link to an IDB article on Wikisource display=alternative text — if wstitle is set and display is set then what is see is the display text
All the other parameters are standard and can be found in the documentation of {{cite encyclopedia}}
template.
This template fills out the following standard parameters:
encyclopedia = The Indian Biographical Dictionary year = 1915 — can be overwritten ref = harv — can be overwritten
- These parameters do not display if the short parameter is set:
editor-first = C. Hayavadana editor-last = Rao edition = 1st location = Madras publisher = Pillar & Co.
In addition the following standard parameters are available to be filled:
first first1 first2 first3
last last1 last2 last3
author author1 author2 author3 author-link author2-link author3-link
title — can be set as an alternative to wstitle if the article is not available on Wikisource url – ignored if wstitle is set otherwise can be set as the alternative website for the IBD article volume page pages mode
